[s-cars] AUDI S8 QUATTRO FS- Maine

I'll agree the S8 has to be best kept secret in terms of
dollar/value/fun/exclusivity factors go.
Not that I'm in the market for one but I routinely check prices on them
nonetheless. It's definitely a buyers market as the bottom has completely
dropped out recently. A local friend has an '01 with the alcantara seats and
headliner. Riding shotgun in that car going skiing with a very capable
driver and Blizzak snow tires is definitely something to experience. Folks,
that is one of the nicest interiors you will EVER sit in. As one of the
Dave's pointed out, the alcantara, or at least the sport seats, really make
the car. Not that I'd kick a non-sport seat S8 out of bed, it's just if I
had my druthers.

Speaking of druthers, make mine an '02 black/black with alacantara sports
and Euro S8 avus wheels, not the stock 18" avus with convex spokes please.
<dream mode off>
