Levent,
I have a V1 in both of my S4's, mostdefinitely mount it above
the rear view mirror and NOT on the dash. If you mount it ont he
dash you will significantly the amount of warning time you receive.
Also make sure you purchase the remote display, it makes life sooo
much easier when the officer behind you can't see your lit up radar
detector! I have mine mounted in my instrument cluster.
Because I find myself driving through radar detectpr unfriendly areas,
I
am working on installing my V1 on a bracket in the rear window where
the
stock Cell antenne is. I plan on disguising it as a cell antenna, so if
I ever get pulled over (again!!!) in say Canada, they won't see the
V1. This is where the sacrifical old escort could come in play.
Also make sure when you callValentine to order your V1 to ask them
for a returned one. They are brand new ones a customer didn't keep,
retain the factory warranty, etc. but their is a significant $$
savings. They may say they never know when one might come in. etc.
but they have them all the time and you won't have to wait any longer.
Just insist on purchasing a returned one.
HTH
