That must be a fairly recent thing, Jeff.

Not only Federal funds for financial aid, but at least here in PA, if you're
convicted
of alcohol or drug possession or consumption, you won't get your license
until at least
18 and it will make you basically uninsurable as well.

One other thing to think about is that even if your own children are good,
you have to watch
out for his or her friends- it's not too hard to see how a whole carload of
kids could get nailed
if one kid has some pot or whatever.
