Thanks Fred. That was one of the more first thoughts - we poked at the
clamp as best we could to make sure it hadn't let go. Is there a trick
to access for trying to tighten it?
Again tx Fred.

Paul;
If the tank is wet on the passenger side, I'd guess that the rubber hose
connecting the fuel filler pipe to the tank is leaking. That would
explain
why it is worse after a fill-up. The fix might be as simple as
tightening
the hose clamps, but getting to the hose clamps may not be so simple.

Q here for a friend thar.
'95.5 sedan mit 150k reeks of gas inside car and outside, mostly after
fill up then dissipates mostly. It's *definitely neither*underhood nor
not the lines down the pass side sill. Definitely not those. It's not
(seemingly) on top of the fuel pump basket.
But the tank is wet coming down from the top, over the tank seam, and
down the bottom. First glance to me thought tank seam but it at least
appears to be coming from above there.
Any BTDT's on this? It's hard to tell cause everything right there is
wet due to...

Rear diff pass flange spew out. What's the typical $$$ for a shopjob on
addressing pass seal R&R? Guesstimate would be cool.
Well least he's got new RS4 rep 18's en route, leaks be damned? I told
him to change his name to "Halstedo" - bwd'oh. But he does need to
address the asphyxiator that now ferries his 3 week old girly...
