I haven't changed this gasket, but I have heard others say that there
are two hidden bolts in the center, that are not obvious when taking off
this cover.

Here are some notes on the gasket:

6-15-2006

There appear to be two valve cover gaskets available under the same
part number. Is this correct?

034 198 025 Valve cover gaskets

$4.55 cork

$11.99 rubber (set with half moon)

Can anybody set me straight here?

Thanks.

The actual part number is
034 198 025 F

... and it is a rubber gasket set, including the 2 half moons and the
center gasket around the spark plug openings.
