If you can keep the boost threshold reasonable, the 4 cylinder offers better
weight distribution than the V-8 and it's a lot easier to work on the car
with the 4 cylinder.
I don't know how well they do with aftermarket suspension, but the B6 and B7
S4s are really piggy- very ponderous going into turns, you really feel like
you have to make the car work and it's a lot of weight to move around- they
drive like a much larger car than they are. The 2.0T feels much better in
the corners.
360whp in an A4 would be a blast, though.
