[s-cars] Oil Leak

Gents:

I have an oil leak which started as a teaspoon here and there, but which now
is making a big mess on my garage floor.  I've not yet climbed under the
car.  It seems to be from the drivers side of the engine block.  I do see a
sensor that is in this vicinity, and have not yet gotten messy to check it
out.  Is this the oil pressure sender that is infamous?  If so, does it leak
in a steady state way (meaning can I drive it) or does it become
catastrophic (meaning wait till the weekend)?

Sketchy information, lazy here till Saturday.

Any thoughts?
