Scott,
I guess I forgot that this thread is about a comparo of the S60R, sorry. I just get tired of these post that even though you don't know you do it, you disrespect those of us that like the urs for what it is and for the fact that we can drive it as a daily driver and a weekend track car and still have fun. Sure you can add up the $$ that we spend making the car our own and say we should spend it on a lighter more track worthy car but most on this list track MP no more than 2 or 3 times a year and the rest of the time the car is a DD and a reliable one at that. I'm not sure if your just trying to enlighten us or if your just sick of steroid injected urs cars passing you (or trying to pass you with no acknowledgment) on the track. Anyway, I'm not starting anything and I expect your usual Elijah this and Elijah that but think about what you post and how over time you just contradict yourself over and over. Love ya, really do,

Elijah

Hey, I just fix what's broken on audis, and drive a lot of good cars Elijah. What I'm looking for is a test drive report and comparo of someone that's actually driven the S60R, not really interested in google searches or known problems. S cars have plenty. Plant yer butt in the S60R, drive her hard, and compare it to an S car (I prefer Paulie's style, but *any* style will do). Just about every rag and mag has compared the S60R ride to the audi S line, so it's not just me that finds the comparo convenient.

No Elijah, I just drove the crap out of an S60R stock and tweeked, and found a LOT of similarities to what many strive for on this list. If that's experience, anyone can do it. I will say with plenty of experience that S cars have issues like any other machine that will break when driven.

Not the point, nor the advocation. Appreciate what the competition has done to chase the S car customer from a comfortable turf. It requires you experience and compare the rides in real time, at the wheel, not the keyboard.

Peace

SJ

I bought one for $20 in a group buy. Its a splice in one but is the same part. No biggie in my opinion, sure not something to hold on the reliable side of this stupid discussion which I am still trying to figure out why we're in. Oh yes, Scott is in this conversation and there is always something better or more experienced in these topics, ugg, I love my urs, that is all for me, back to lurking :-(
