[s-cars] Worthy projects (was Alum..was UrS $)

W.G. - the AWD thing, in my opinion, is just simply the response time of the
torsen and the 50/50 natural state of the drivetrain. The problem really is
that metro Denver has the worst damn roads I have ever driven on when it
snows any appreciable amount...much worse than Minnesota, for
instance...even worse than the mountain areas in Colorado. This really is
the only reason I ever switched from all rear wheel drive stuff to start
with. Kind of the sacrifice for living here I guess :)

I have a few more thoughts.
1. I am sure there are maintenance and reliability issues with the
Volvo just like the S cars, nothing is perfect.
2. As for the AWD system being worse then the Audi some do not like
it but it worked well for me. (driver is everything)
3. I am not sure about the size shrinking on the R-V series Volvo
looks to be the same size as the S4-S6 cars to me.
4. Newer S4 TT is a great car but it is to small for my needs in
sedan form and the wagon is useless for my hauling needs.
5. As for the dealerships I can only say that the only good new car
dealer near me is the Subaru dealer all others suck and I have owned
may new
cars foreign and domestic.
6. I have seen a factory body (looked factory) kit for the S60R and
it is low so maybe that is what is making that car scrape.
I do feel that my personal preference is Audi (95 S6 and 200 20v)
over many other cars, but if I had to replace the S6 I would get a
S60R or on a different note maybe I get a V8 M5 and just drive the
200 20v in the winter.
