It's tough to beat 'similar' interior volumes, when volvo makes such nice  
looking boxes stay boxes.  Squaring off the rear end brings a lot of  strategy 
to the absolute numbers of interior volumes.  That said, comparing  volvos mass 
produced qship wagons to several dozen Urs6 production isn't  reality.  The 
S60R seats with that glove leather make you feel like you are  in the cockpit 
of a citation, not like sitting in the sport seat version of the  A6.
 
Audi should take some notes from that S60R IMO.  Even compared to the  new S 
line, the S60R has quite a few standard set that audi should've  followed.

The  interior of the V70 is definitely smaller than an UrS- the cargo area  is
decently large, but it's short. Passat wagons are much larger, the C6  A6
Avant is enormously huge and the MBZ wagon is quite  large.
