Thanks for the feedback Brian, I have new stock bushings but wanted to
know if I can fill up the gaps prior to installation and then still be
able to do the installation... as it's a press fit. Mike said he was
able to do it, but still his did not dry out completely prior to
installation, so maybe that made a difference. I don't want to fill them
up prior and find out I can't get them in after!
Yes, I plan to do the tranny mounts too...
Cheers, /Jamu.

Hi James,
I just did this job with factory bushings because of my time crunch and
Jasons(AMD) time problems also. ...I wont F' with the aluminum ones but
I am doing the delrin version by AMD as well as his special control arms
once theyre finished.
as for the stock ones and gaps, i dont know what gaps there would be. I
had to use a special configuration of washers/bolts to press in the
bushings in my yard and theres not extra space. also i dont know i'd
trust the urethane to stay adhered through the pressing process.
however i did use windshield urethane in the voids of my tranny mounts
and would suggest that if youd like.
if you didnt buy stockers yet you can wait to see how i like the delrin.
the only thing Jason had ready for me were the upper rear sub bushings
that are totally solid and i have no harsh issues.
food for thought

I picked up a new set of Subrame Bushings... and was thinking of
filling
up the inside gaps with Urethane Sealent ( i.e. 3M window weld
or
like)... to make them more rigid.... But I heard they are a
"beotch" to
replace... if I fill them up with Ureathne Sealent will I still
be able
to install them? Since it's a press fit... or am I just looking
for
trouble...
Was thinking of doing this to make the Subframe Bushing a little
more
resiliant and responsive... but not as much as the aluminium
ones from
