yeah thats no fun.

im on my 2nd pedal(used) as well

took me over an hour the first time, surely could do it in less next time,
 the best advice i got from the list was to zippytie the over center spring
compressed to aid the install.

other than that its, replacing like removed,, lube a little and she'll be
fine
