All these closet urq owners... Like skeletons! Hap I currently drive a
completely stock motor with the euro cam, and attached a k24 to the exhaust
manifold. Exactly what that turbo was built for IMO. Put another way, the
cheapest way to take lag from an urq, and put the urq into the 6second quick car
territory. I've seen all out race prepped E30M3's take out some impressive
cars, including my urq. But to pass with said M3, the level of intensity by
that driver was so much higher, I questioned the worth. I was obviously having
more fun, apparently at the expense of his ego. Paulie's JNR ascription
came to mind over 10 years ago.

BMW does need to change over to the quattro driveline though. The
stubbornness of raising a car and stabbing driveshafts thru oil pans needs some four
ring der tecknik.

In da beginning, I started my Audi modding with a beautiful Zermat
urQuattro. It was mildly massaged with suspension, wheels/tires and some engine
tweeks. An aspect of life that some guys need to learn is turbo threshold/lag. You
haven't experienced it until you drive a stock urQ. Anyways I degress. At
several BMW track events, the modded urQ embarassed all of the E30 M3s in
attendance. Most were modded with at least suspension. I have to admit that the
turbo here at altitude did give me the powah advantage but that car could flat
out perform the M3.

Hap, wit dakine memories not from Evahboost, Maguire
