That's good news Wylie, and I've noted this trick for future reference. You might consider replacing the FPR while the system is depressurized. I'm not at all sure it could be a cause of your problem, but then I can't be at all sure it isn't- and it is a fairly cheap part.

......so I pulled the intake hose and sprayed some starting fluid into the IM and put the hose back on. Car started and ran for about 3 seconds then shut off again. Tried again, same result. Looks like fuel (pump) is the issue, as I've swapped relays and no change.
Thanks for the advice. I ordered a new pump and fuel filter from FAP99. Hopefully it gets here expeditiously.
