I have the Toyo T1-R's on my '00 A6 4.2 for summer's (255 40 17). Despite
what others say, I really like them. Stiff enough sidewall, pretty sticky,
good in the wet and quiet. I too was interested in the Falkens (was the
ST-115 at the time since the FK-452 wasn't out just yet), but since they
were discontinuing the ST-115, I went with the Toyo's. My other choice was
the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3, but I've read too much about sidewall bubble
issues with them (not to mention they were $50+ more a tire than the Toyos).

Anyone have any new opinion to offer on the Falken FK-452 or the Toyo 
T1-R?  I've seen  mostly good on the Falkens (overall and compared to 
the FK-451) and disappointment on the T1-R's (compared to the T1-S).
