Steve-
What car is this for?
Just as a info point, most of the Miata drivers who are performance-oriented
do not
like the Toyos (other than the RA-1) after having driven a car equipped with
a better
tire (e.g. Hankook Z212RS2 or Falken Azenis RT-215 or -615). Most of the
comments
on the Toyos that are positive relate to ride quality and low noise.
Relatively narrow
tread width compared to some other tires in the same size (they run narrow
as opposed
to the Falkens that run really wide sometimes).
I can't help you with the FK-452.
If you're looking for tires for the GTI, you really need to consider Azenis
RT-615. :-)
I'd second Larry's suggestion of Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 for the S6- nice
quiet tire,
great reviews on Tire Rack, seem to be pretty decent and well suited for
something
like the S6 (they would be way too soft for a Miata, though). I like the
Michelin PS2
and the Conti Sport Contact 2 on a car like the S6 as well. P Zero Rosso is
also not
bad, but they wear quickly and don't have the grip of the Michelins or
Contis.
