The only marking on the 034-sourced coils is "05-07-06" stamped on the
bottom of the head on the opposite side from the connector.

This is the 3rd one that has failed.  So far no failures from either VW
dealer-sourced 115R coil, so I'm starting to think that excessive dwell is
not a problem with my car and that the problem is just poor quality coils
from 034.

Haven't seen the wide temperature differential between the coil types again,
but haven't had an another opportunity for a sustained hour+ of aggressive
driving.  I have noticed that ambient outside temperature seems to affect
the coil temperatures... when it was 50F out, all 5 coils were around 180F,
when it was 30F out, all 5 coils were around 170F.
