Hi Bob, I have filed a formal complaint with NHTSA, Confirmation number (ODI
Number) is: 10182337. Their phone number is DOT Vehicle Safety Hotline at
1-888-327-4236. I suppose everyone could call and "me too" my complaint
number and that would add to the impact. I also plan to send my compliant
to the dealer and have contacted Audi of America to request a recall,
1-800-822-2834, refer to reference number 700577455.

Cal

The steering wheel doesn't lock unless you pull the key out. Until then you
still retain steering control, though limited by the lack of power steering.
Brakes will also be much, much harder to apply.

The first step in the process would be to file a complaint on NHTSA's web
site. Look for it under quick links. http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/
