[s-cars] TT xenon upgrades

Forget what I said earlier about TT upgrades and US DOT lamps. My 
mechanic spent a fair amount of time over the weekend playing with 
housings, and he eventually found that the ecode housings worked 
okay. The original writeup was specifically for S4 headlamps, and 
he found some differences in the S6 housings.

He did have to do some customization and found that the Corey 
brackets did not work in the late C4 housing. He fabricated some 
brackets from lexan.

So my son is now the proud owner of a C4 Audi with TT xenons and 
A6 electrics, in ecode housings/lenses. Much better light than the 
ecodes alone!

Two questions -- The cutoff seems somewhat fuzzy as compared to 
traditional ecodes or other Xenons I've owned. Is this the way the 
TT xenons are, or is it a function of bulb placement relative to 
the reflector?

Also, what further difference will the HID lenses make? Paul at PG 
can provide them...I'm just wondering whether it's worth the 
further investment...

My car is in the shop for an ecode allroad xenon upgrade now, and 
my wife's car will be in next week for the TT/A6 upgrade. Let 
there be light! :)
