[s-cars] Quattro.... there is no substitute - just add JNR

Paul,

Well as W.G. related in another reply a number of us with Gruppe-Q at
Steamboat got to drive a lovely RS4. Now my driving isn't near the level of
former rally guys like W.G. but I did find ESP to be ugly in its default
mode. :-) Lets face it no manufacturer of the current era is really
building for Gonzo track driving. For Ice/Snow track I'll be sticking to an
LT1 mated to a ZF 016 with Center/Rear diffs locked.

I also like the fact that older Type 44 bodies keep bouncing back after bank
excursions... including 50-0 in 15 feet. The RS4 needs a flat bed home after
a few mild off track trips. ;-)

//Sssssssssooo... tell us more tell us more, 'o Peter, about 'some' RS4
foray a 'wee bit' ahem 'off course', if you would, at said event...

And yes, ESP can be *criminally dangerous* for "our" driving styles (careful
I just lumped the you's and the me's into "our" muwahaha) - first thing I
kneejerkdo when I ready to do such activity is slap that sucker OFF,
thankfully it's right in front of your 2:00 hand to whack at.

Throttle cutting, terminal understeer, etc., are not your friends in those
moments, uh huh.
