[s-cars] Cut-out solved?

Bob,

Wouldn't surprise me in the least.  I had something similar on the  
engine speed sensor on the V8 5 speed.  In my case just unplugging  
and plugging back together the connectors "cleaned" them adequately  
enough to (at least so far) get rid of the cut-out.  Certainly worked  
better than dumping water on the sensor every time the situation  
manifested itself (i.e. 7 times over a month period) over a year ago...
