         Yes, cylinder heads can be repaired even with substantial 
damage.  Down here in Nascar country there are folks who can fix or 
fabricate most anything.  Contact me directly re: the head.  I can 
give you the contact info for a guy I have used to repair heads after 
dropped valves, overheat cracks, etc.
