ETKA 7 is pretty cool, it's got a place to select "USA" or "Local  
Market", as well as for Argentina, Brazil, China, Mexico or South  
Africa as well. The "Local Market" option seems to offer every model  
made by VW or Audi, and the "USA" option offers models sold here, so  
we no longer need two Family Albums. Yipee.

Just as good, it no longer requires 1280 x 1024. I'm running it in a  
Windows XP session on my MacBook Pro at 1280 x 800, and it's fine.

I had to play some games to get it to install, but no biggie. I  
shared the root of the folder tree into which I extracted the  
archive, then mapped a drive to that share with a low drive letter,  
so the install would think I was installing from a CD/DVD drive. It  
threw some errors during the install, thru which I just clicked on  
the "OK/Yeah, whatever" button, after which it runs fine.

I haven't tried to do any of the updates, can't see any reason to do  
so. I get all my prices from net retailers, not from the FA, so price  
updates are not needed, parts being superceded...who knows?

It's a BIG FRICKIN' INSTALL. About 1.7GB installed, over 40,000  
files. Worth the wait, however.
