Similar experience. I went to the second S-Fest with a straight, badly
maintained, S6 (but still not earning the name of S-Bitch in these early
days). AFAIK, the only noticeable moment I brought some value to the Audi
world this year was when I stood with a beer seating on the trunk of my urS,
only because (who was in charge of pictures this year, I have a few words
for him) the picture of this moment ended up as an AW wanna-be motivation
poster (BTW, way to go for the unknown AW guy who done that with my face
without asking, this motivation poster was really funny and good fun is the
only good reason not to respect the nethics about pictures or any other rule
or things and stuff (TM)).

The point is, beside uncontrollable and welcomed side effects, I was only a
spectator with nothing to bring in (except a few beers from Unibroue that
anyone could find in an US liquor store).

I enjoyed this PK garden/urS party so much up that, a few months later, I
was wondering about NE being the main US textile area (I'm a textile
engineer), only a green card away, and probably very close to living in
Quebec in terms of snow and sun and traditions (the main reasons I decided
to live in QC) but I would be closer to PK'n Co. (Should I emphasize the "&
Co." that made the S-Fest growing bigger possible? Probably not.)

Would I be wrong saying that these weird thoughts rarely happen outside the
S-list (exception made of the 18+ forums where 36D Russian girls abound but
that's out of S-Car list rules of posting :-)? Probably not.

But I've been at this Audi thing for a long while &
have been introduced some very knowledgeable,
selfless, crazy, fun loving..happy go lucky guyz over
the many many years ;-)
Case in point...back a few years ago Paulie invited me
too a little dinner/question & answer thing with the
Champion MS group at what turned out to be the last
year of the Rs6 on the Speed World Challenge..well
anyway..
it was at a nice Inn out near LRP.
PK invited me..why me..I'm not some executive tie
wearer..or own an //scar..I'm just this gruff don't
take any $hit roofer who ownes a few HOT or is that
HAWT v8's. But anyway...
...got to shoot the Shit with Randy Pobst, Michael
Galati, the executives, the tire guy, the suspension
guy, the guy who makes sure the bathrooms are clean
for the executives...LOL..but 
 the prize of them all was Michael's wife..."MOMMA
Galati"..I had a blast with her! Had here sign my Audi
flag that..& she did laughing her a$$ off as she
signed it!
She's the kinda lady that could....well do whatever
she wanted & looked like she was us ta doing so. But
great sense of humor...just like PK :-)
Boy I need a tissue...aether for the Brown nose I
have..or the tear running down my cheek. Boy that's
deep ;->
But Paul is just one example of one of the great
people I know cause of these magnificent cars!!!

 So onto you Mr Chad T....looks like you may owe me a
spin when your cars done than...huh???? Hummm I'd get
to have driven 2 largo 200 20v's..sounds good to me
:-)
I bet I could be persuaded to turn my back & let you
try & blow my motor up ;-P

 But we'll see you again Chad..as I told Keith..I'm
only 9hrs away & if you aren't careful I may just show
up to bug you :-)
