[s-cars] Rule number 3, don't be a schmuck.

I have stayed out of this as well, but figured what the hell.
It is not a new issue. It comes up every so often and always flares up
far beyond the original infraction. In all cases it is because the
original poster made the grave mistake to cross post to the mother
q-list as well as the s-car list. This will invariably get Brett's
attention as I don't believe he tends to lurk on the S-car list.
This has only been an issue since we moved over to Audifans. In the
past, whether it was on egroups/yahoogroups, or the boldfish server,
occasional postings were tolerated, and even welcome. The group has
always been self regulating on this front and it never got out of hand.
However, on the mother list they're a bit more stuck up about it.
Frankly, it's not the same family atmosphere we have here.
A few years ago during another one of these flare ups, I brought up
these facts to Brett and I've included his reply below. Maybe he's
changed his mind and feels the need to be stricter about regulating our
sandbox as well. Hopefully not, but don't irritate him by cross posting
to the q-list.
And to whoever suggested moving the show to a forum, I think you'll find
it very lonely there. You'll lose a great majority of us.

All this is moot. I ONLY pointed out features Audifans provides
site-wide. I did not say "do not post for-sale items on the s-car
list", nor did I imply it in the remotest sense.
My exact original comments, which inspired Mr. Green's tirade about
'posing as list administrator', were:
"Then might I suggest signing up for the marketplace announcement
list? :-) It automatically sends out an email every time something is
posted to the Marketplace on the
website(www.audifans.com/marketplace/)"
