[s-cars] Trunk has turned into das Guillotine

There is no way to fix them.  Just replace them.  They're around $35
each for the original Stabilus.  Other brands are available for less,
like Meyle or Meistersatz, but who knows if they'll last as long.
Available at the usual aftermarket parts suppliers.  Replace both and
keep whichever one is still working as a spare.
