I may try local as well, there is a good hose shop up here. Several actually.
Not sure I wanna be a guinea pig on it. Though it's easy enough to get at.

  I just had my J-hose rebuilt by them - and so far I'm very happy with the results.   They kept the restrictor - in my conversations with Jay at HOH, he's had enough requests to keep the restrictor that he's kept it as part of the rebuild.  The J-hose from the pump to the bomb wouldn't create groaning issues, so I can't speak to that.  But no issues - and I did flush the system, which I would definitely suggest.

  The shipping was more expensive than the actual repair, though three of us shared the costs, sending three hoses in at once.

  I did try locally if they could rebuild the hose first, but decided to go with HOH anyway.
