I have the ECS stage III on our 95.5 S6avant, it was
on the car when I bought it (from former lister Jim
Klein) a few years back.  I inspected the caliper
brackets last night, and sure enough there are cracks
forming.  Not nearly as severe as the pics posted on
Audiworld, but clearly they need to be replaced ASAP. 


I have an email into ECS, but I want to explore the
RS2 option.  I would appreciate clarification on
exactly what I need here.

First the brackets themselves, I see 034 has them for
$225, is that a reasonable price?

Rotors- what specific year/ model (A8/S8?) rotors and
better yet- part numbers.  Recommended sources for
good pricing?

I presume I should replace both the caliper-to-bracket
and bracket-to-strut bolts.  Should I use locktite,
and what sort of torque should be used.

I probably should replace the braided lines at the
same time too, eh?

Thanks for the help.  Tonight I will pull a wheel on
the cq, it has the same calipers (black) but is a
2Bennett kit.  I'll report on what I find.
