[s-cars] AC Evap Drain Clearing?

If you think the evaporator drains are clogged, try this: there's
a sensor on the top of the evaporator housing (about 4" by 2", and held down
by 7mm nuts). Take it off and have a look in there (you'll want a small
flashlight). Mine was bone dry. I poured a quart of water in there and it
drains great. (I got that tee apart and water poured out the hoses on both
sides of the tee).

Are we chasing the same problem? I run A/C a while, make a slight turn, and
water drops come flying out the vents. It sounds like water hitting a steam
iron. It must be a puddle of water sliding into the fan wheel.

It doesn't have anything to do with rain, and the cowl rain drain is clear.
People often say their pass compartment is flooded after rain, floor/ecu
soaked, etc. Not me.

When I drive at a steady pace on a highway for over an hour, that puddle
grows, and then when I turn/speed up/slow down we get dowsed (everybody -
yeah the rear vents throw water too!)

I think it's A/C condensation that's not draining. So if the passenger side
evap housing is draining, condensation must be collecting somewhere else,
and not draining. Brilliant!

Anybody know if there's a drain under the fan?
