[s-cars] Coils anyone??

Bruce, also do a thorough visual inspection of the plug wires.
When I first got my S4, I had the same bucking issues, it would shack like
hell under boost levels above about 16 psi.
After many weeks and $$$, my mechanic gave up. I then found a week later
that one of the coil wires had a split in it. I suspect under big boost, the
crack proved less resistance than the plug did. So the spark went there.
Worth a 5 minute check, they are hard to see.. real hard. Even wrap them all
in some black tape and try driving.
Once I found the crack, I wrapped it in black tape and it worked great. The
first time I had ever felt full boost.
