It was about the last year of the 280Z, right before they switched to the
300Z...let's say 1982 or 1983. I was just starting to get interested in
cars that weren't matchbox cars :) It was one of many examples, in my
opinion, of how consumer reports doesn't know their butt from a hole in the
ground about cars.
