I'd have to agree. The A3 chassis Golf/Jetta began the period of the bloated
VW. They lost
all the eager "puppiness" of the earlier two chassis and gave it up for ...
.fat. The A4 chassis
was a better (at least the added weight added refinement), and from what
I've read, the A5 has
regained a lot of the feel, in spite of the fact that an A5 GTi weighs more
than my old 4000Q.
