Stunning... I delivered pizzas in a Mars Red 80 S myself in the mid 80s.
Mine was a fun little ride, and one of many VWs I owned.

I had an orange 80 'S' in 1987.  Did my first stereo "install" in that
thing on a Saturday afternoon.... had my first car fire Saturday night
while delivering pizzas.  Worse, something was wrong with the suspension
(blown shocks I think) so the car would power-off over steer in a
parking lot.  The list goes on from there (several SAAB SPGs, 240
Turbos, etc.)... Nothing reliable of course.
