No reason to shy away from separate boxes, just let the router be the
DHCP server, and keep the WAP boxes from doing it. By default in most
WAP boxes that I've seen, this is not the case, and so DHCP on most
WAP boxes must be explicitly turned off. By having one box on your
network (the router) supply all DHCP addresses, they will all be in
the same subnet, no problemo. HTH.
