[s-cars] what tires to get ?

Even the vaunted Potenza 050's that are on the GTI are downright scary
in the cold and wet. They're great in the warm and wet that you expect
down here in Houston, but when we had the subfreezing and near-freezing
wet weather earlier this year, they made me wish for different tires and
quattro...so I parked it and got out the S6 with Pilot Sport A/S tires
and breathed a sigh of relief.
