I think temperatures in the mid-30's are scary in their own right. That is one of the reasons I live here on the Left Coast. Today's forecast -- 68F and sunny.   :-)

  FWIW, DOT-R rubber is pretty slick in the dry at temps much below 50F Ask me how I know....
