I am making a harness to install relays for my RS2 headlights in my CQ.
I purchased all the goodies to build it from www.waytekwire.com. They
have all the good stuff and cheap.
Anyway, I did not buy the crimpers from them as they looked to be
standard ones for $50 (ok, not cheap on everything). I am looking to
pick up a set of crimpers locally that will work on the open barrel
connectors I need to install in the relay connectors.
If you go here: http://order.waytekwire.com/IMAGES/M37/catalog/219_060.PDF
and scroll to the bottom of the page you will see the terminals and the
recommended crimpers. I am trying to determine which feature in the
crimper is needed to properly crimp these terminals.
I thought the 'W' shaped feature crimped the longer wings at the end of
the terminal to the wire insulation. Is this right? The only 'W'
feature I found in crimpers I have seen are the large ones used for
spark plug wires.
Does this terminal require two hits to be crimped? One for the bare
wire and one for the insulation?
Help! I am clueless here. Sorry for the VLAC but I am stuck.

TIA,
