Competitive is not a concern. Cheap, fun, safe, cheap. I will
drive this car on the road, have a *strong* preference for AWD
european cars.
Or maybe I'll buy this car:

I also have limited mechanical ability and will not be installing
4.2L V8s into a FWD 4000...
A cheap TT might be interesting...for some reason it's my
daughter's favorite car, might be fun to have a car like that
around...but so far, TT and cheap aren't generally found in the
same listing...
And the VW thought crossed my mind too...
