[s-cars] urS Rejuvenation (long)

Teddy,

I did an aftermarket kit on my S6 and while I liked the lighting,
I was not happy overall. The design of the modded xenon bulb
causes a lot of shaking of the bulb in the mount, IME. This is
distracting on bumpy roads and must contribute to shortened bulb
life.

Then the cost of a replacement bulb, if you can find an
appropriate match, is quite high. And the electronics are not
easily sourced separately, so if you have a problem, you're
screwed.

The Munro approach incorporates stock bulbs and stock Audi
electronics. Makes future maintenance much easier and less
expensive.

Overall cost of my upgrade, aside from labor, was about the same
as your kit. And my bulb costs in the future will be much lower.

Lighting of the aftermarket and the TT projectors is somewhat
equivalent. The A6 projectors throw a *lot* more light.
