Hap:

All are good choices, Seattle, Vancouver or Victoria. Depending on what you
are looking for, Seattle is very much urban, but has charming communities,
Victoria is a smaller city with nice views, Vancouver is in between.

If you want recommendations for restaurants in Vancouver, let me know what
type of cuisine you are looking for.

Near Nanoose Bay is Parksville, it has a very nice resort and spa called
Tigh-Na-Mara. They have a restaurant called the Cedar Room which specializes
in local, westcoast cuisine and seafood.

I haven't been there personally, but I hear it is quite nice.
