FWIW, I was able to install the bracket without any modification at all.
I mounted it to the bottom side of the strut brace, like this:

disclaimer:  My high output coils might be slightly different sized than
yours as mine do not have the built in drivers (I run 034 standalone
engine management on my car so the ECU has built in drivers).  I have my
car wired so that I can still run motronic if I want my plugging the
POSes inline with the coils, tho.

On the wires, I cut mine to length as well, but didn't use any fancy
tooling at all.  I think I trimmed the wires with a utility knife and
crimped them with a pair of pliers.  330 WHP on a mustang dyno, no
problems.
