www.pgperformance.com sells the S6 Eurolights. You can't use the HIR bulbs
in them because both high and low beams are socketed for H1 bulbs, not the
900x bulbs the HIR base fits.

Gentlemen -

After a low-speed impact with a lump of American iron (in the form of
a tan Mercury Grand Marquis LS poorly driven by a young gal), I have
decided to repurchase and rebuild my 1996 S6 that was totaled by the
insurance company.  Damage appears to be confined to body parts
located outside of the engine bay on the front of the car including
the front bumper,headlights,hood/grille and radiator. This project
presents a good opportunity to make some modest upgrades on the front
end of my car.

Can someone provide me with the Euro headlight assembly part #'s
(without corner markers)and a good source for these lights?  I also
wish to confirm the bulb options for these lights as I am currently
running Toshiba HIR 9012 bulbs in the low beams of my old lights and
would like to transplant them to the new ones if there is a benefit to
doing this.
