Scott - having survived the OLOA (had several very near misses with the
Jaegermeister bus) and engaged in cleaning old emails and posts of the
computer this AM, I come across your post below, and it triggers what few
brain cells the Jaeger's apparently missed.
FWIW, "We" (my OneLap co-driver & I) are thinking of maybe, perhaps,
possibly doing the Targa Newfoundland, and looking for something car wise to
take and use in there for the Sept, 2008 race. Let me know if you hear of
any likely candidates. Some of the Criteria I'm at least thinking of:
- Does NOT have to be wicked powerful;
- Does NEED to be wicked reliable;
- Would like "semi-disposable" i.e., doesn't cost an arm or a
leg to walk away from;
- will need to come with, or have a cage etc. and appropriate
seats in, or put in it.
And I'm certain there's a lot of other stuff I haven't even thought of yet.
:-)
Cheers, Mike
