[s-cars] malfunction indicator lamp

Hi all,
Few days ago I've noticed that the "OK" message does not show on the little lamp in the middle of gauge cluster. After quick search I found this:

" Dashboard lights: Driving with less than 3 gallons of fuel in the tank may illuminate the malfunction indicator lamp caused by a lean misfire. (1995) "

Do I have to replace anything at this point?
