I am selling my 95.5 S6 Avant along with an extra set of steel wheels
with snow tires and some spare parts. The car has an MTM chip and
high pressure hoses along with bilstein/eibach suspension that was put
on about 2 years ago. The engine, transmission, exhaust, and
suspension are great 10 out of 10. The interior (gray leather) is
about a 6 out of 10 with normal wear and tear. The body (black) is a 3
or 4 out of 10 with a rust problem around the rear wheel wells. If
you are looking for a great running and fun S6 or a donor car for the
engine, suspension and interior parts, this is a great car for you.
If you are looking for a clean and beautiful car from the outside,
this is not for you.
The car has 182k miles on it. The battery is new. The suspension and
clutch were done not too long ago. I drive the car from Philadelphia
to Columbus, OH on a regular basis (thus the high miles) without any
concern about reliability. The only other things that are wrong with
the car are: 1. one of the front rotors is slightly warped which led
to the ABS light coming on. 2. Rear wiper does not work. 3. A few of
the display bars are not working on the air conditioning temp control
(i.e. you can not tell the difference between 0 and 8). Air blows
really cold, heat really hot, windows, sunroof, mirrors, etc all work
properly.
Please let me know if you are interested. The car is located in
Philadelphia, PA and must go ASAP as I am moving.
