[s-cars] Rear end squeak

Bob,

I have taken a real close look at the upper trapezoidal links.  There 
is essentially zero play and applying considerable force with a bar 
confirms this.  I really think they are OK.   The squeak is a 
different quality of noise than what was there when I replaced my 
last upper control arm.  It's more raspy metal on metal sound rather 
than squeaking rubber.

And are you suggesting that some kind of old fart?  ;-)  If so, 
you're right on the mark - on both counts.  I turn 70 in three 
weeks.  Assuming I make it that long.

I think I'm going to go for a ride and see if the grease does work 
its way into the joints.  Maybe I'll get lucky.
