Bob,
While others may have a more colorful opinion on the source of your rear
end noise, I'd say it is more likely to be the rear control arms. They
can be really, really obnoxious. After a year or two, I just couldn't
take it anymore. I would get TRWs, if you can find them, or Febi's.
Stay away from Meyle. Oh, and don't wait as long as I did. Your tires
will not like it.
