One other thing, be sure to remove the fitting from the water manifold & inspect.  My hose was failing also, so after lengthy debate finally took it off after my turbo lunched itself.  Turned out this hose has gotten filled with sediment causing a near complete blockage.  In retrospect cleaning out this pipe would have saved the turbo, as the rear turbo shaft bushing overheated, prematurely wore & let water leak onto the hot side impeller.
