Rolling along on my multi-part project, I now come to plugs and plug connectors.

..............snip.............

I pulled the connectors off as part of the valve cover gasket
replacement, destroying them in the process.  One of them left a ring
of rubber welded to the plug which required further gyrations to
remove before the plugs could be extracted.

I have always put a _light_ coat of dielectric grease on the inside of my spark plug boots, mostly for electrical insulation. Might also explain why they come off nice 'n easy too.......
