I'm wondering if it's part of the wonderful brake bias of the later Bosch
ABS systems, which favors the rear brakes until it feels the fronts are
necessary (in order to reduce dive). If Mark isn't braking hard enough,
he'll
barely trigger them. THAT might be the issue.

FWIW, it take a bit of time in normal driving for my HPS's to clean the
front rotors. I'd be the HP+s would clean 'em up and spit 'em out right
quick, however.
